Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-23
This Privacy Policy explains how <<Registered entity name — e.g. Postveo Technologies Private Limited>> ("Postveo", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you use our website and services. We process personal data in accordance with applicable laws, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act") and the Information Technology Act, 2000, and, where relevant, the EU/UK GDPR.
Overview
We handle your personal data responsibly and transparently. This policy describes the data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. It applies to visitors to our website and to registered users of the Service in India and the other regions we serve.
Information we collect
We collect: (a) account and contact data you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, and password; (b) billing data processed by our payment partner Razorpay, such as billing name and transaction identifiers — we do not store full card numbers; (c) content data you upload or generate, such as brand assets, captions, and images; (d) connected-account data from social platforms you authorise, such as profile identifiers and the tokens needed to publish on your behalf; and (e) usage and device data collected automatically, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and cookies.
How we use your information
We use your personal data to create and manage your account; to provide, operate, and improve the Service; to generate, schedule, and publish the content you request; to process payments and prevent fraud; to provide customer support; to send service, security, and transactional messages; to send marketing communications where permitted (you can opt out at any time); and to comply with our legal obligations.
Legal bases for processing
Where the DPDP Act applies, we process personal data based on your consent or for legitimate uses permitted by law, such as performing our contract with you. Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are performance of a contract, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time, which does not affect processing already carried out.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it with: service providers and processors who help us run the Service (such as cloud hosting, analytics, and email delivery); our payment partner Razorpay to process transactions; the social platforms you connect, to publish your content; and authorities or third parties where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect rights and safety. We require our processors to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.
Connected platforms and third-party services
When you connect a social account, you authorise us to access and use the data and permissions needed to schedule and publish content. Your use of those platforms is also governed by their own privacy policies. You can disconnect a platform at any time from your account settings, which revokes our ongoing access.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure the Service, and understand how it is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. See our Cookie Policy for the full list and how to manage them.
Data retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, and afterwards only as required to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data as described below.
How we secure your data
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk — including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure infrastructure — to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you and the relevant authorities of breaches where the law requires.
International data transfers
We operate in India and may process and store data using service providers located in other countries. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we take steps to ensure it receives a level of protection consistent with applicable law.
Your privacy rights (India / EU / others)
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, update, or delete your personal data; to withdraw consent; to nominate another person to exercise your rights (under the DPDP Act); and, under the GDPR, to object to or restrict processing and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law, and you may also complain to the relevant data-protection authority.
Children's privacy
Postveo is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
